OCR Technology

OCR TechOCR (Optical Character Recognition) is the method of converting a statically scanned document into a searchable, copyable text document.

A good example of putting OCR to practical use: Take a cabinet full of delivery notes; each note has an individual number which could be your main indexed field, but you may want to search them for a specific part. Once the document has been OCR'd you can click FIND and search for the part number.

Barcode Technology

Alongside character recognition, we also have the ability to index your documents which have been pre-stamped with barcodes. Our intellegent software scans the documents, reads the barcode and outputs the corresponding reference number allowing each file to be accurately documented.
